Eva's Wild White Miso and Honey Glazed Salmon
Super simple but extremely delicious Asian inspired dish that take minutes to make
Serving size: 4
INGREDIENTS
- 16 ounces salmon, 4 oz portions
- 1 tablespoon ginger root, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons miso, use white
- 1 ounce avocado oil, split
- 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 3 each green onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Pre heat oven to 400ºF
- Season salmon with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredient in a small bowl. Whisk until combined well.
- Heat a 10" saute pan on high heat. Add remaining oil. When oil is hot but not smoking place salmon in pan. Be sure to sear the top of fish first.
- Place entire pan in the pre heated oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven and flip salmon so the nice seared side is up.
- Liberally coat the salmon with the remaining sauce. Serve immediately.
Serve with steamed bamboo rice and your favorite vegetable.
