Eva's Wild White Miso and Honey Glazed Salmon

Super simple but extremely delicious Asian inspired dish that take minutes to make

Serving size: 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 ounces salmon, 4 oz portions
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons miso, use white
  • 1 ounce avocado oil, split
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • 3 each green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pre heat oven to 400ºF
  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Combine remaining ingredient in a small bowl. Whisk until combined well.
  4. Heat a 10" saute pan on high heat. Add remaining oil. When oil is hot but not smoking place salmon in pan. Be sure to sear the top of fish first.
  5. Place entire pan in the pre heated oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove pan from oven and flip salmon so the nice seared side is up.
  7. Liberally coat the salmon with the remaining sauce. Serve immediately.

Serve with steamed bamboo rice and your favorite vegetable.
