SHIPPING WILD SALMON
Your fish is packed carefully by our own team out of our Seattle distribution hub. You will receive your fish within a sturdy, recyclable cardboard box packed with a recyclable insulation. We pack each box with dry ice, or in some cases, a combination of dry ice & gel-based refrigerants to keep the salmon in pristine quality during transit. Dry ice may have evaporated by time of the delivery.
To avoid shipments getting held up over the weekend, all fish boxes are shipped out on Tuesday of each week, and will arrive at your door within 1-3 days from shipping. All customers will receive a shipping confirmation email once your package has shipped that will contain tracking information.
Shipping Costs for Fish Boxes
We recognize that our shipping costs are more than what you may be used to paying (especially in the age of Amazon Prime!). That being said, the truth of the matter is that responsibly shipping premium, wild, frozen, salmon around the country is not cheap. The main drivers of these costs are a) dry-ice weight (ranging from 5-25lbs depending on destination and weather conditions), and b) a 3-day time-in-transit maximum that we ensure for every order. As we grow, we aim to establish multiple distribution hubs to bring a wider swath of the USA within 3-day ground.

Our deliveries arrive at your door with no signature required. Customers should monitor the status of their delivery to ensure that the package is transferred into their freezer in an expeditious manner after delivery.
When opening your box, take care to handle any remaining dry ice with gloves or a cloth, and avoid direct contact with skin. Transfer the filets to your freezer (or refrigerator to begin thawing if you're hungry!). Our deliveries arrive in either a frozen or close-to-frozen state. Slightly thawed filets may be safely refrozen with no perceptible loss of quality or nutritional value.
Eva's Wild is not responsible for quality concerns for shipments that were not collected by customers in a timely manner when accurate shipping information was provided.
