Garlic Sriracha Foil Baked Salmon
Sticky, garlicky, sweet salmon with no mess!
Makes 2 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds salmon, Eva's Wild
- Sockeye Salmon
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 ounces soy sauce, use the good stuff
- 1 ounce brown sugar
- 1/2 ounce sriracha
- 1 ounce agave, honey works also
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ounce chili paste, sambaal olek
DIRECTIONS
- Pre heat oven to 425ºF
- Roll out two sheets of foil 6" longer than the salmon filet and stack the two pieces of foil. Place the salmon filet in the center of the foil lengthwise and crunch the edges of the foil all the way around the salmon to create a foil pan. Place the foil with the salmon on a sheet pan and set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl combine the garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, agave, salt, pepper and chili paste. Whisk until smooth and set the sauce aside.
- Place the salmon in the oven on a center rack for 4 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the salmon and continue cooking salmon for another 8-10 minutes.
- When the salmon's internal temperature reaches 140ºF, remove from the oven.
- Serve the salmon in the foil.
